Ola is passionate about making art accessible for all…she has worked in community arts, development education & events management for over thirty years.
Predominantly in the East Midlands but also with VSO in Nigeria, culminating in a published art and education resource book.
A singer-songwriter, vinyl DJ and visual artist, creating socially engaged, often humorous songs & site-specific installations/performance.
Jane has worked for Fleet Arts since 2007 in various roles, including Receptionist, Administrator and currently, as Finance Officer. A keen gardener, she sells her produce to fundraise for Fleet Arts, in her popular drive-by stall.
Francesca joined us as an intern from Derby University as an Assistant Archivist to catalogue/research our 40years archive. She has since graduated with a first and has stayed with us on a temporary contract to complete the archive for Derbyshire Records Office. She will then be joining us as a Trustee.
An experienced Arts Educator, Creative Producer and Mentor…Ruth will be joining the team to coordinate our Spring/Summer program of work within the local are.
A previous Director of Fleet Arts in the 1990’s, Tan has remained a great friend to the charity and although now semi-retired, still provides quality, artistic facilitation within the community. More recently, he has worked with us in a Consultancy role.
Mary had a career as a dedicated Primary school teacher. In retirement, she has remained active within her local community as both a School Governor and a Town Councillor. She has a passion for working with and for the benefit of young people.
Mike is an ex-partner in a local Solicitors firm. He is a keen sportsman and active member of his local Squash club.
Janet is a retired ‘Groundwork’ Executive Director and rural development worker. She is currently director of a local social enterprise company.
Alex is an experienced Cultural Services and Events Manager. He is also a successful and skilled Music Producer.
Rachael is an experienced art teacher who also ran her own creative business in Belper, called ‘Creartii’.
She is now KS1 Education Coordinator at the awarding winning ‘Museum of Making’ in Derby and currently runs projects for Fleet Arts on a freelance basis.
